- Audio Post-Production and Mastering
- Have a CD ready to replicate? Mastering is a critical final step before you spend thousands of dollars on CDs. Our post-production process includes:
- Normalization - Leveling the volume of each track.
- Equalization - We analyze the frequency spectrum of each track and make sure that the sound of your entire CD is consistent.
- Compression - Our two-stage mastering compression process tightens up your tracks and enhances their punch. We use a multiband compressor to balance each part of the frequency spectrum, and then process the result through a mastering compressor to add punch and presence.
- Sweetening - We optimize your tracks to enhance the sparkle and crispness of the high end.
- Noise cleanup - We make sure that there is no hiss, hum, or noise from the beginning to the end of each track.
- CD layout/indexing - Your tracks will be laid out with the specified interval between tracks, and indexed for replication.
- Gold master disc - You will receive your mastered production on a gold archival CD, the preferred source media format for pressing.
